We occasionally refer patients to specialists (board-certified veterinary surgeons) to perform complex operations when advanced equipment or training is beneficial. We do this to ensure that our patients receive the best possible outcome. Our veterinary staff takes all necessary precautions to ensure your pet receives a safe anesthetic. Before surgery, we perform a physical exam and pre-anesthesia testing to see if your pet can adequately handle the procedure. Then our team will monitor your pet during surgery and provide pain medication during recovery to keep your pet comfortable and pain-free.
